Help with recording

For some reason, yesterday my Meizu M6 had a "resource" error, so everything got wiped out and I had to download the resource file from the Meizu website and put it back onto my player. Everything works now again, and I have my files back on, but somehow the recording doesn't work. I've tried clicking every key possible to try and start it, neither the enter nor play button will work. Does anyone know what the problem is, and do I have to get another file or something? Thanks.

Hmm weird, the 'enter' button IS the correct key to start, and pause, and to stop (hold longer).

I think I know what your problem is. You have no space on your miniplayer to record. Free up some space and try recording.

No actually I have over 2GB free, so memory is not an issue. It just won't even let me start recording. Can you check you system root folder under recording and see if their is a system file, because i have nothing under there.

under the record file, there is nothing there from my m6..only recorded files..
you shoud try to reformat your player, back up all files before this!!!!

Okay, i reformatted the disk, using both the factory restore and the complete reset. However, the recording still does not work, even after i updated the firmware (and once where i didn't). What's wrong?

firstly, did you do a simple diagnostic test?
example: making sure volume is audible?
setting your record preferences?

if all the simple diagnostics dont work out for you, i suggest you do a hard reset(back up files before this!!!!), if this doesnt bring your recording option to life, start thinking about using the warranty card..

It doesn't seem to work for me either.
I have to shut down and restart.

With the 'enter'- button (<--) you can start, pause and stop (press longer, maybe 2-3 sec.) recordings.
To return to the main menu, press 'menu' (M).

Well, that's better than having to reset the player.

When pressing the 'menu' button for 2 sec., it usually just turns off the display.
