    Someone help the new guy!

I tried to put a new firmware on my M6 and the thing went crazy on me. Then I tried to back track and uploaded the standard firmware and it has been on a green screen that says, "Formatting...Please Wait..." I really hope someone can help me because I just forked out a lot to get this and I think I just F'd it up. HELP! How do I get it back to normal.

    what did you do?
Did you checked first the FAQ section that explains how to upgrade the firmware?
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

yes I did. And I used my manual and some how messed that up too. I uploaded the newer firmware and followed the instructions. Everything was going fine, it even said that it was updating software. Then it just spazzed out and froze on me and now nothing is responding and I get to stare at a green screen that has been formatting for about an hour now.

Green screen is normal. Did you put the resource.bin file back into the root of your player? If you did, you have to shut down the player, turn it back on, and it'll work.

a simple soft reset (press and hold Enter for 10 secs) should do.

I tried the soft reset and it went off, but when I turn back on the green screen is still there and I my computer will not even recognize it when I plug it in. Nothing happens.

Try pressing the Play- button and connect to pc (while pressing).
    This procedure worked for me.

I hear the sound that says I have a new device, but I have to hold down the M button too. Even so, I have gotten this far many times. The DFU tools DO NOT WORK. IDK what is up? It keeps telling me that the software I have now if updated and works, but I can't push the download button on the DFU tools.
