No Custom EQ?
I've searched for the solution but found little. Using firmware T1.009 and cannot access the 'user defined' EQ feature. Upon selecting it the player just goes back to the main 'Sound Effects' screen. Do I need to go back to previous firmware? A bit reluctant to go to T1.010 with the issues involved.

Thank you! You got it. Enter button was toggling me back to the previous screen - forward went to custom eq. Didn't catch that on the manual...doh!
