Hey, i just saw this today on slickdeals
http://www.walgreens.com/store/produ...uid=sku2853942
i'm about to pull the trigger on this but i'm wondering, how does one sync this to the computer? I have mediamonkey and itunes. I'd rather use mediamonkey.
It probably isn't a dealbreaker, but i really dont' want to have to drag and drop every time i add a few songs to my library.
question 2:
I'm curious if is it possible to play podcasted video from itunes on this?
question 3.
I read some reviews that complained about how counter-intuitive converting video is. What have your experiences with converting video been like?
Question 4.
the mic is built into the actual player?!
question 5.
I can use this as a flash drive right?
question 6
any problems i should be aware of?
i googled 'meizu m6 problems' and found a few threads about malfunctioning touch controls and one or two about frozen players. Altogether it looks like the problems are pretty rare. Is there anything you guys heard about that i should worry about?
reviews seem pretty excellent everywhere i look. i cant' believe this is only 100 bucks.

1) about the syncing, this depends more on the software you use than the player. You can sync the player through WMP11 for example. Personally I hate syncing though as the computer puts a lot of stuff on my player I dont want on it without even asking.
Forget Itunes
, its not that great and remember the Apple format is not supported by the M6. Also , Itunes is a mediocre Mp3 encoder at best. There are tons of better options out there
2) about the postcasts I hope some other member can help you as I dont know for sure. However, as ist downloaded from itunes chances are it wont work
3) Video conversion is not that hard. The problem is most people mess around , don't get good results and complain.
If you set up Virtual Dub for the M6 WELL the first time you will most likely have no problems with videos. Personally I use the encoder that comes with the player which works fine for me but seems not to for many others
4) yes the Mic is in the player. Is the tiny little hole next to the earphone jack.
5) Yes, it works as a regular plug and play USB device so you can use it to store your date as with a regular USB stick
6) Not really, except for the video conversion thing mentioned above and the loud noise after some rare mp3 files(1 out of 1600 mp3s in my player). If you have any problems they can most likely be fixed by a visit to this forum
The touch strip work very well actually. Once you get used to it after 15 minutes you will fly through your files.
Complaints about malfunctioning units are most often caused by users who play around with their player, make a mistake and then blame it on the player
Most of the time those probs can be solved quickly.
of course, as with every product anywhere they are bound to be some defective units as the production process is never 100% perfect. For this you have your warranty though.
