    Mac OS X 10.4 + Meizu = Invisible Folders?

I have the 4GB M6 by Dane-Elec, loaded up with the latest firmware---2.002.3.......

I get the folders (MUSIC, VIDEO, SYSTEM, Etc.) to show up the first time, and I transferred stuff over......But then I eject and listen to some stuff, and then plug back in, and all the folders don't show up in OSX

When i look in the browser on the M6, I see that the folders are there, but I just don't see them.......What do I do about this?

    Thanks in advance

Also, does the M6 support .M3U playlists (if i export them from itunes........) and if so, where would i put those files?

thanks in advance to a meizu newbie

I don't have my meizu M6 yet but i believe i read somewhere that when its connected and want to connect it again it had to be off one time. So try to turn it off and back on then connect. Otherwise somebody with a meizu M6 can reply.

I had the same problem on my Imac 20". I think it's sad, cause i have connected many different players and cameras on my mac, whithout any problem. But I have now tried many times that, when i connect my Meizu 8.gb player, all my folders are gone and my player is totally empty.. And after i disconnect and unplug the player, is it dead, and i have to format it, and change it back to english instead of Chinese.

Yes, MEIZU M6 and MacBook is not working that great. I've found that if I transfer files directly from iTunes to the M6 then I get wierd problems. But if I go to the music library and transfer songs that way then it works without problems. You can right click an album in iTunes and choose "go to folder" or what it's called in english

I grab songs in iTunes and drop them in the M6 music lib. The M6 reads ID tags so you dont need the folders, just the songs. But as I said earlier. There is some minor problems that occur when doing so.

    hi all,

i've got this problem too. it seems if i add songs from another machine, linux or windows, and then use the mac it decides to drop all the songs.

Im not sure if its reformatting or doing something odd with DS_Store files which confuses the Meizu.

Did anyone get to the root of this?

    Thanks

    Paul

I found out that you have to disconnect the player from the Mac using the icon shown below:

I mean the eject-icon behind 'TEMPDISK':

If I don't use this icon (if I just disconnect my player from my mac) all my music and other stuff will be erased ..

(btw, sorry for my bad english )
