Is an English manual available?

I'm loving my M3 but unfortunately, I can't read the Chinese manual. It even took me a while of guessing menu choices to set my machine to English. Is there an English version of the manual online somewhere?

I have a feeling there are a lot of features that I can be taking advantage of...

bkayatashi, I have a question:

I still haven't bought my M3 yet. Are you saying that the player, when brand new, will automatically turn on in Chinese and that you have to figure out for yourself how to change the Language to English?

Your response is much appreciated -as well as directions for how to switch to English!

When I recived my M3 the language was already set to English. I guess it will depend on who you buy it from which language its set too. Anyway, if you do get the player and its not in English, just select the very last option in the main menu, then scroll down seven text's and go to that menu and you can set the language. Hope i explained well.

Just to add to what Hoppes already wrote, here are my additional instructions for setting the language to English:

1. Hit the menu button (the "M" button)
2. Scroll down to the very last menu item at the bottom by swiping your finger downwards on the scroll bar. This is the "Settings" option.
3. Select this item by either hitting the forward-rewind button ( the "<>" ) or tapping once in the scroll bar.
4. I guess at this point you can count down to the seventh menu item. I scrolled all the way to the bottom (see #2), and chose the fourth menu item up from the bottom. You'll know if you're in "Settings" sub-menu because the very last menu choice will say "Reset All Settings" in English.
5. When you select the seventh-from-the-top or fourth-from-the-bottom menu choice (Language), you'll see the word "English" which you should choose.

Hello!
I recently purchased a Miniplayer here in China. I wanted to get an English manual and was told by Meizu that manuals in English are not available in China but may be obtained in other countries! I have looked on the Internet and have not found anything. I don't understand what the problem is! I assumed that MEIZU was a serious company having read all the reviews but service is also a part of a company and I am quite disappointed with MEIZU. The idea that it is possible to use the player without a manual is not wrong but there are many problems that could be solved personally if there were manuals available! Please let me know if you have any luck locating a manual in German, English or Italian!

Here's the manual for the M6 (miniPlayer):
http://www.meizu.no/manual/M6manual.pdf
(do a right click and save as)

And I agree that Meizu is giving us a hard time with downloading the manuals, and it's really not appropriate.

er then restart the player and reset the language.
that didnt work. The only files in there were FM.ini and Setings.dat. I deleted them through the USB connection by browsing to the system folder, restarted it and it still defaults to Chinese.

thank god! I figured out the problem. In case anyone else runs into it - here's what did it:

shut the player down, then started it back up. Right when i saw the "loading" screen, i pressed and held the <> button until it said "formatting"..after it started up again, i changed the language to english and it's staying that way now.

Yay! I thought i had a bunk player.

Can anyone explain to me why I have to rightclick the link to the PDF file for the M6 manual and just click on the link for the M3 manual. Both are pdf files, and I just used a ftp-program to send them to the site. If I click on the M6manual.pdf it will just show a lot of rubbish.

My files are here:
