M6 Messed up trying to upgrade firmware

I downloaded the latest firmware 2003.2 and it messed up the first time. I tried again and it went to the green screen. I tried once more and then the player locked and I had to hold down the return button to shut it off. Now it will not turn back on (the screen will flash sometimes though) and when I connect it to my PC nothing happens because it doesn't recognize it I guess.

When you "try once more", don't tell me you copied both M6.EBN and resource.bin into your player...

You're only supposed to copy the resource.bin once you see the green screen...

Hold the play button longer and see what happens. Or you could try hard reset...

I think I might have uploaded both of them again. :-\

I've held the play button a very, very long time and nothing changed, what do I do to try a hard reset?

But it looks like it needs to be turned on to do that, and I think mine is off?

try a format then a hard reset then dfu tools , after that i guess your stuck

I used the DFU tools to get it to work again
