    Uploading Music onto my miniplayer

    Hi,
I know it must sound like im an absolute idiot, but i can't get my new meizu M6 miniplayer to upload music etc from the pc to the player. I have windows 98 and have downloaded the drivers and connected my player via usb. The instruction manual says to transfer files to the 'removable disk' in my computer. I've looked everywhere but cannot find anything like this! Help on where i might have gone wrong or steps from here would be much appreciated...

He may be saying that M6 is not appearing on file manager or 'my computer'. I sometimes have to right-click and hit 'refresh' in 'my computer' for the removable disk to show up (although that problem has stopped since I loaded one of the forum members' custom skin which shows a visual icon for miniplayer ).

Go to settings and make sure you have the USB mode set right. MSC is for 'drag and drop'. MTP is for when you want to sync to Windows media player and download music onto it.
If you use MTP for music it will sort out all your album art as well.

Does windows 98 support plug-and-play? Maybe he needs to install drivers first...

Thanks for your help.... I have tried all these things... With no success. The manual says to double click "My computer" then "removable disk." However there is no removable disk file in "my computer!" After installing the driver, (i hope) all that comes up is folders such as read me, secums, secumsp adn safermv... I dont know what these are... Thanks for your help...... A music player that doesnt have music on it isn't exactly the best!

    true...

I dont think many of us are still in Windows 98 as thats nearly 10 years old...
if you upgrade to XP you probably wont have any problems...
