OTG function on M6

This is a discussion on OTG function on M6 within the Technical forums, part of the miniPlayer M6 / SL category; A video shows the OTG function as operational on the MiniPlayer with the external battery case, but i don't understand ...

    OTG function on M6

    A video shows the OTG function as operational on the MiniPlayer with the external battery case, but i don't understand if it's from M6 to anoyher player, or reverse, or both.

    Unfortunately the video does not show the OTG function on M6, but on the other player. The other player is the host and the M6 is the guest.

    In fact the same thing could have be done with any USB mass storage device replacing the M6 (USB stick, memory card, hard disk, whatever...)

    The interesting point however is that the USB port on the battery case is not only decorative, and is connected to the USB connector.

    I can't wait for my M6 host...

    whats so special about it?

    The Meizu is only used like an USB-Stick. (the same as when U connect it to a PC)

    The other Player is the Host!

    The other way round would be mentionable! If the Meizu would be the Host!
