White Screen and nothing happens

Hey,

i have a little Problem. i hope it is a little Problem i upgrade my player and then the player want to restart, but then are only white display and nothing happens. what can i do? plz help me.

Can you explain in more detail how you got to the white screen?

i attempted to upgrade my miniplayer from the version sp 1.010 to sp 2002.3, then the player are restarting, but after the restart come only the white display and nothing happens. i cannt turn it off. only white display.

How long did you let it restart? Because it is normal for the screen to be white while the firmware is updating.

Oh no, i dont think that the player is updating. cause i have the white display since 1 hour.

do you have an SP or TP player?
White screens can be caused by uploading the wrong firmware. Happened to me a few times

Check the back of your player to see wether its the TP or SP version.
If you by accident installed the wrong version of firmware on your player this can be fixed with the DFU tools or under Vista even without the DFU tools

yeah, ur right. i have sp version, but i uploading the tp version. now i have a black screen, but the player dont want to turn on. how can i fixed it under vista without the dfu tools?

if you uploaded the wrong firmware that can be fixed

search the forum for the steps on how to use DFU
you can even use the DFU tools when the players seems dysfunctional

one tip for the DFU tools: follow the instructions EXACTLY and dont forget to keep the power and M button pressed all the time, through out the whole process!
