Hi there,
I have been using miniplayer since monday and noticed strange noise when backlight is completely off, not hiss sound im talking about but ping sound, high frequency noise, not loud but annoying enough while listening music at low volume, and very noticeable while volume set to 1. I wonder if all miniplayer owners get this sound, or just mine acting bad ?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postssame problem with me,
i got my m6 8gb for a week now, and first thing i noticed is this high pitched sound-noise when you turn off the display. i was really dissapointed with the player because of that, because for about 150 € i expected a bit more soundquality.with the display on, the noise is gone, but i only get under 12h of batterylife.
A simple solution for that would be an integration of current time or date being still visible when you turn your display of. That would safe battery life
makes the sound disappear and would be a nice feature.
+ i noticed you can even hear this noise without earphones plugged if you
put the headphone connecter close to your ear.
but besides that i think the m6 is really great
(when i told a friend about that he said that he had same problems with the
display on his Korg-Triton Synthesizer when using the display on that -maybe a common problem with some hardware constellations? hhm)

In that case youre setting are probably wrong
The player can easily do 20
of course, if your backlight is on all the time or you play video, pics or browse all the time wthis number will drop
if you get less than 12 hours by just playing music, check your settings cause you should be able to improve on that
ps: are you running the latest firmware?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsyea im using latest firmware.
i got my backlight on (makes the noise disappear)
i think this drains the battery the most, but with sensitive in ears i cant stand the noise on quiet parts.
im wondering if thats a common bug with the m6?
if so, wouldn't it be cool to have a feature that still shows the time while you
turn off your screen in order to get rid of that howling noise?
(like its not completely off, but a black screen with a tiny clock, so you save battery life but you get sound quality improvement)
i guess that would be my biggest wish for future f.w. updates.
