Anyway to fix a breaking screen?

I dropped my m6 on the floor and it landed right on its corner, causing it to split into plarts (the back came off, the usb guard, and the battery somewhat) It still works, but the lower part of the screen has gone completey white, and there are some vertical blackout lines too.
There is no visible damage on the screen itself, so im hoping that there might be a way of fixing this somehow.. afterall this thing is pretty much un-crashable.

Don't even try fixing your screen. Almost impossible. A new one should do the job, unfortunately they not easy to find nowadays.
In your case I would rather find a new player.

damn.. so now way of fixing it via softare commands, formatting it or something?

You may always refresh your firmware or upgrade it. Free of charge. Search a bit in here to find out how.
It just doesn't sound like to be such a problem. I assume you able to see what's happening on the rest of the screen right?
