Help! *URGENT* M6 won't turn on!
Omg, I need major help. I tried all the resets, and tried DFU tools. The Meizu messed up after the newest firmware ( V2.002). I tried it once, but it said no rescource, so I uploaded the firmware again, and now the M6 won't turn on... It would only flash once and then nothing would appear. I'm trying to use the DFU tools, but I tried it a couple of times, and I exited the installation of the drivers once, because I had to sleep. After that, the computer cannot recognize my Meizu through my USB cable. I'm so mad. I need a solution before Sunday! I'm going on a trip on Sunday, and I really wanna use it during that trip!
Please help me!
Thanks in advance.

Relax... its fixable...
your player is not broken or messed up
If your player says "no resource"just upload the same firmware again
as you say that doesn't work so use the DFU tools
The major mistake made here is not keeping the Power/play and the M button pressed ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE PROCESS
I know.. this is inconvenient but It does work
try it again...I have been in your situation a lot of times(as I try all new firmwares and skins and have both the TP and the SP version of the player and tend to mix them up) and its very fixable

Did you hold the ON button for the required time of holding?

Wow.
Anyways. Here's all I did:
#1 - Downloaded the firmware, uploaded the firmware into the ROOT of my M6.
#2 - Turned off my M6, turned it back on, said NO RESOURCE, so I uploaded the firmware ONCE AGAIN.
#3 - Tried again, this time, it wouldn't work and there was a white screen (I then held the ENTER key until it shut off)
#4 - I turned it on again and all it would do is flash once and nothing would come out
#5 - Tried plugging it through the USB to my computer, the CHARGING thing didn't show up. But it DID recognize my device.
#6 - Went on the Meizu forums for help, and downloaded and installed DFU tools.
#7 - Read more on what I needed to do.
#8 - Tried holding and stuff, but I was in the middle of the installation of the driver, but I had to go, so I CANCELLED it.
#9 - The next day, I try to do the DFU tools thing again, but not only did it not work, but the COMPUTER DIDN'T RECOGNIZE THE DEVICE.
#10 - There is always a "sound" when I plug in my M6 into the computer (The sound where you know it's a new USB device)
#11 - Up until now, all I need to know is how to get my computer to recoginze my M6.
That's all I need to know.
Please help... I really need it before tomorrow night!

If you are hearing the connection sound when connecting your player then Windows must be recognising it as something. Check the device manager to see what it is being loaded as. My guess is because you have already loaded the DFU drivers once that Windows is installing the driver automatically. The player will not show in Explorer while in DFU mode.
I suggest you continue with a full DFU Tool recovery. Copy the correct M6.EBN firmware file into the DFU Tool folder. Hold down the M button then The Power\Play Button and continue to keep them depressed at all times. Now connect your player, when you hear the connection sound run the DFU Tool and you should see this:
If the download button is inactive, close and restart the DFU tool. Press the download button, once complete disconnect and restart the player. If all went well the player should now show in Explorer when connected however you may have to know copy the resource.bin file to your player than restart it.
Be sure you are using the correct firmware for your player TP or SP version. If you let go of either of the 2 buttons at anytime during the process the recovery will fail.
Be sure you are using the correct DFU tool there is an older version that does not seem to work with SP version players. You can download the SP version here:

Listen. If you come to the forums for help you need to put all sarcasm aside. Nobody here personally knows you to pay their utmost attention to sarcasm. Just follow the directions of holding the buttons mentioned and things should work out for you. Just calm down.

hey, don't make a scene in the forums just because you didn't follow the DFU tools instructions properly. nor did you read up on the proper updating of firmware. if you did, you'd know that the resource is different from the firmware file, and that when upgrading from v1.010 to v2.002.x, the resource file has to be uploaded a second time.
in any case, take a deep breath, gather your wits about you and TRY AGAIN. make sure to follow instructions EXACTLY. if they still don't work, THEN you can panic.

Okay, thanks.
I didn't load the DFU tools when my PC was installing the drivers
And when I open the DFU tools I am missing the part "Device" and I have nothing in that blank space where you have "S5L8700 Rev.1".
Thank you for those who helped...

Well, I guess it was a stupid mistake. I did the M + Play/turn on key at the same time, and thought that there had to be a popup window. But this time, I held the two buttons, and opened up the DFU tools. Someone, the blank space had been filled with something and I could now press the "Download" button. And yeah, that's it.
