Gray bar on M6SL

Hi, I have been having trouble with my computer recognizing my M6SL. It does not show up when connected to usb. I have read and tried the DFU tool guide for the SL version, but all I get when I plug in my M6SL is a black screen with a gray horizontal bar at the top. It only turns on when connected to the usb, I cannot turn it on manually.

The DFU Manager can still recognize it if I hold the M and Play buttons, and I have tried the tool numerous times. I have also done the different resets. My computer not recognizing the player seems to be the biggest problem. Please help, Thank you in advance.
