OK, I've hooked my Meizu to other speakers before. Twice to different computer speakers and to a friend's old stereo. I bought a Phillips cable to hook it up to the headphones input and nothing, not a sound. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the Meizu or the stereo system itself. Is a Phillips cable not enough to do the job? Any ideas?

Try turning up the volume on the miniPlayer, and make sure you've plugged it into the right ports (maybe you plugged it into the output) and selected the correct source on the stereo system.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIt's a 6ft/1.8 m dubbing cable. It's meant to hook up MP3s to stereo systems and what not. Don't know if the brand of the stereo system matters, but it's a jWIN system from roughly the late '90s, I believe. There's only a headphone input and the options to select from are CD, Tape, Turner, and Phono. I assumed Phono would be the one, but nada.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsDifferent brand, but this is the same cable I bought. Not so sure if the last cable mentioned would work, there's only one input jack and that's the phones jack. Nothing else to insert a cable into.
