Question Marks for Titles and Names

I have a Meizu miniplayer that I bought from China and for certain songs the titles or the author's names or both would just be in question marks. The question marks are for Chinese characters and it is really starting to annoy me.

Most of the chinese characters appear perfectly fine but it is only certain songs that just simply would not appear. I have tried everything but no matter how many times I try correcting the characters or typing in the chinese characters itself or even copying and pasting the characters from somewhere else it does not work.

For instance, I have Lee Hom songs from two different albums. The problem is that for one album all of the chinese shows up correctly but for the other the chinese characters turn out to be question marks. I went so far as to copy and paste the characters from the album that does show to the one that doesn't and the characters still will not show. Instead, after I unplug the player form the computer and it updates, I check the title and it is still question marks.

Is there any way to fix this? It is very annoying and I am getting tired of trying to fix it then unplugging it just to find out the problem still persists. In a few months I will probably get an iPhone since I'm going off to college ad I might give my meizu to my little brother but if a meizu I bought in China can't even display chinese characters I think I will just bash it with a hammer and throw it away. >____<;;
