Meizu Me has grown tremendously over the years and we thank all of you for being a part of this dynamic community. In order to keep growing and prevent problems, please follow these simple rules.
General Rules
- While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insults, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
- Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the like.
- Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
- When posting a new thread, be as descriptive as possible in the title. Thread titles like "PLEASE HELP!!!" are not welcome.
- Posting your email address is not allowed anywhere.
- Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed in any shape or form. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
- Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. Use 12 hours as a guideline.
- You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral.
- You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
- We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate Meizu Me’s community standards. Our team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
- Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
- Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
- Meizu Me is an international community, and therefore no language other than English will be tolerated in the main forums. We have international sections for discussions in other languages.
- While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
- We reserve the right to ban anyone who violates the forum rules, as access to Meizu Me is a privilege and not a right.
Style Guidelines
- When answering the post above you, do not use quotes.
- When quoting long posts, make sure to only keep what's important for your reply.
- Use proper capitalization and try your best to use proper grammar and spelling.
Advertising and Solicitation
Meizu Me is a platform for unbiased and fair discussions. We do not allow people to post threads or send private messages to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Advertising and solicitation in signatures is also prohibited. Using unconventional advertising methods is seen as a great offence and dealt with quickly and harshly. Regardless of what ones connection to the advertised product (even if only a customer) is; advertising is strictly prohibited.
Moderation
Although the administrators and moderators of Meizu Me will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners of Meizu Me will not be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The Meizu Me staff reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any post or thread for any reason.
Staff Disputes
Any disputes with the staff of Meizu Me are to be handled in private through the Private Messaging System. It is not tolerated to publicly ask why a certain post was deleted.
Addendum
We reserve the right to update and modify these rules without notification, as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
