Is it real working?

Good day,

I just downloaded Rocbox installer and there is no Meizu player on a list, so I can't install Rocbox.

I read that this is a volunteer project and I have to wait for final version. But I'd like to ask: Is Rockbox really working on Meizu now?

Not quite. It's still being programmed, you can check out progress in the Rockbox forums.

I remember seeing a preliminary Rockbox running while it is "tethered" on both the M3, and M6. The Developers, however, are still working on it (hopefully, as there has been very little progress lately), so maybe in another couple of months. Possibly years, it all depends on the Developers. Maybe if you ask nicely, one of them can give you the "tethered" version.

By tethered, do you mean that the mini-USB cable is essentially a very delicate umbilical cord?
