Well, the removal of hissing sound was one topic discussed in the Chinese thread. But the specs for WM8987L are quite worse than UDA1380HN. Especially the THN.

I think I'm gonna get an M6SL anyway if I find a cheap one (at least there's hope of running rockbox on it^_^).

Hi Could you make LCD working..

Even I am using the same(S6D0139 is controller and LMS283gF03 is panel) LCD panel, but not able to see any thing on the LCD panel except back light.

Our CPU is iMX31, and we have spi interface to lcd. LCD initialization is done as per the commands given in datasheet but we are not able to read even device ID...
LCD panel is not at all responding.. is there any clue from you.. if you can share the working code it will be great helpful..
