no need to apply the patch, since markun comitted it to the svn. Just download the latest version of the source and it will be there. (If you want to compile it, I think you have to use the bootloader method)

But as mentioned it'll do close to nothing. The code tries to switch the backlight on and off on an button event, but markun couldn't figure out, how to do that so far. Nothing fancy there.

I'd really like to contribute to this project, but all those pipes and operators make me sick. Plus I don't know jack about embedded programming.

any news regarding the progress? was markun able to run the test code with results he expected?

no. we tried to run the code but it havent worked. we had to recover our players using dfu. no results here.

wow, Ive just discovered this rockbox port project... I hope you guys can make it work. Ofcourse If there's anything I can do, I'd love to help, although im afraid I don't know any ASM

the wiki page on rockbox.org didn't change since months. is there any change to see rockbox on the meizu m6 in the near future?

the future on this project doesnt look to bright
this project is in the making for over 7 months with no major accomplishments and no testing peroid anytime soon.
