hey, there is just some news released on a custom firmware running on linux, you can find more info about it on this forum:

i have no idea how to install it, so i can not test it until there are some clear instructions...

i hope you find this interesting, i certainly do!

maybo you should work on a GFX card hardware implementation. its just a music player. why wuld you want linux? you dont even have enogh interfaces on M6 to play around.
