What kind/model/brand of headphones do you like and are you using with your Miniplayer.
I'm personally stickied to my AKG K26P, great isolation, great bass and pretty good sound.

I also have two pairs of those PT800 that comes bundled with the Miniplayer, but i dont like them that much...
What are you using now?Last edited by marcelo1251; 11-22-2006 at 07:13 AM.

I agree to iversonjack...great headphones, but the noise in the background is a little bit nerve-end...but I think that is a problem of the M6

I really like using the Grado RS-2 with the Total bithead in conjunction with the M6 (T1.007). Since the sound signature of teh M6 is quite warm compared to iaudio, it really brings out the great qualities of the headphones. Too bad theres hiss though, really stops me from enjoying piano music.
On the go, I usually use the Audio Technica EW9 clip-ons or the Audio technica CM7Ti earbuds. Great SQ on the go.
At home, usually use Grado's (RS-2 and PS-1). Gotta love your Grado's.Last edited by Blackstar; 11-22-2006 at 01:54 PM.
Current Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI didn't want to pay much money for earphones, so I looked for some good earphones for round about 20-30€. And I found the Creative EP-630

I don't know if these are realy good, because I don't know anything about all the different headphone attributes. But I have read many positiv tests about them.. so I bought them for just 24,99€ (a acceptable price for me :P).
I can't say much about them now, because I still don't know what are all these sound effects for or how to use them... treble boost, spatializer, ViBE, EQ, and so on.... I just need to learn how to use this all, and than I hope I can tell you more :P

I've never used Grado's, but all I've ever heard about them was positive, so I don't think I can go wrong. In the future I can see myself getting a set of Grado SR60's. SQ aside, and just going for looks, I might get me a pair of Panasonic RP-HTX7 (Shown here) because they look awesome.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOMG! this is my earphones as well, although mine is black. i've had it from before i got the m6. :D
edit: ok, so a few days after posting this, my Sony MDR-EX71 died on me. had to go out and buy new ones. now i'm using the Philips SHS 8000. definitely not as good as the Sony in terms of bass and overall volume. i found that i had to turn the volume up a bit, as compared to when i was using the Sony. i also had to pump the bass to 15, whereas for the Sony, i only had the bass at 2.
but i think the Philips seems to output clearer sound that the Sony. but then, i'm not really an audiophile so i'm not sure. has anyone else tried out the Philips SHS 8000? care to share your opinion?Last edited by glacier; 12-06-2006 at 02:38 AM. Reason: changed earphones

To get the best sound I recommend IEM (in ear monitors). They do sound a lot better then f.e PT800 and likewise. They also filter the noise making listening more joyfull and stays in place when moving your head

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsImho there are 3 real Options.
Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 (about 75€)
Audio Technica CK7 (also about 75€)
Westone UM1 (you'd have to import them from the US) - price depends if you have to pay tax or if you don't have to.
Since I don't know the Jays I don't know how they sound - so no recommendation by me.
Anyway.. to give you a clear recommendation we would have to know your listening habits (which music, where are you listeing to music, which headphone style do you want etc.)Last edited by Krabbenkoenig; 12-06-2006 at 02:28 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi like them just fine, sound-wise. except that my ears feel sorta stretched if i use them. i think my ears are smaller than average. in any case, it's uncomfortable for me to use them for any length of time so i prefer to just use the in-ear type earphones, as they have different sizes of earpieces.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsActually I've never heard of them.
What's the price of those thingies?
For my taste they look too much "bling bling", if you know what I mean.
Maybe you could give me some links over to heafi where the phones are being discussed/reviewed?
