How can an amp degrade the sound? An AMP just amplifies, not reduce.

I just made one of those, and it sounds amazing. Especially with the M6, It gives it a more refined midrange, and the Bass is more pronounced. I highly suggest everyone who can to build one. It does however hiss quite a bit, but with the volume turned to a moderate level, you can't hear anything. You also might want to switch the 220uF's with 1000uF's for better Bass.

Trust me it's worth it, if you go and buy amps of the same quality/chips, you would be paying $100 or more.
