    Nice Translator

    nicetranslator

The cool features you can translate to more languages at the same time and the page translating already while you writing. You simple add or remove that languages you want to use.
It supports Chinese and other major languages.

I think it's a good handy tool for translating small messages of any kind, posts, chatting, pm or if you can’t read or write Chinese.

Check it out or leave it.

Looks to me like they just put a nicer skin on Google Translate. The results are identical. The multi-translate feature is nice, though.

Does it require you to be online? I am currently using Jinshan software for my Chinese-English translation which is ok for simple words but not for sentences.

Yes...as I said, it looks like they're using Google Translate as their engine and repackaging the results.

BTW, if you are interested in language and have always wondered about those crazy Chinglish signs you often see, have a look at this article:

you might reconsider your Jinshan software after reading it.

Oh, I've seen my fair share of Chinglish. 'One time sex' (it's disposable or one-off, FYI) is popular with the sellers too. That Chinglish even appeared in Shanghai daily once, although I never kept a copy of that.

No free (online or otherwise) translation software does a good job at translating sentences, but sometimes it helps to get a general idea.

I’m sorry if I did disappoint you. In fact yes it could be useful on M8 as well.
