Iphone 3G Contract

I am confused as to what unlocked is and what locked is as a matter of fact. So I guess by searching on the internet, some sites are saying that you can buy a iphone 3g at $199 and unlock it by yourself then your warranty would be void or what? Or do you have to buy a unlocked iphone 3g for $500 so you dont have to use ATT, because I really see ATT as a good network but just really expensive, and I do not want to get the ipod touch because lack of camera and GPS(SAME REASON I AM NOT BUYING the M8THE FIRST TIME AROUND). I dont even want the phone just those features and the ipod touch!!

You have to sign the 2 year contract at the store. So you'd have to buy one off of eBay.

AT&T will soon be selling unlocked 3G Iphone fors $699-799. (Or something like that) It says on the website.

u really cant just claim somebody to be an apple geek becuz they posted something about apple in the off topic section, unlike others who put it in the M8 section, I like Meizu I am just not getting one this year, I want a iPhone this year just because I am waiting for the next generation of Meizu I never said once in any of my posts that I was in love with Apple when I dont like the things they do at times to their devices but it is my choice this year for christmas and the M8 still does not have everything I want so i saw the cheaper price better and the ipod touch as a matter of fact might just be something I get to just pass time with and get the Meizu M8 2nd gen when it comes out

Whoa, run on sentence much? Anyways, I respect your decision, since if I cannot get an M8 by March of next year, I'll stick with my current phone and get an iPod touch 2G.
