"Part Two" is already in the making. I will update the thread as soon as I'm ready to release it on YouTube.

Excellent review so far, Tangmu, thanks!!
Very thorough, and you actually showed the phone's thickness which all of the videos I've watched so far have neglected. Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Awesome! I'm a little sad all the buttons don't work or do anything though... What can you configure in the options? That screen turning off thing was annoying, I'd probably want to set mine longer. Also, can you change what shows up on the menu?

Glad you like it. Yes you can. Just like the ringtone. I will deal with this in one of the next episodes.

A short comment on the battery: Yes, Li Ion batteries slowly loose capacity (it doesn't matter if they are used or not), but any notebook, mobile phone, MP3 player and even the Tesla Roadster uses these batteries. I think it's better than NiMH batteries which only have like 1000 recharge cycles, no matter if you fully recharge the device or just refresh it.
Motorola has cleverly included 2 batteries with my phone too, which is great when the battery life is like 1 1/2 to 12 hours. This is something that has been criticized a lot on the iPhone.
Anyway, thanks for the review so far I just wish that they wouldn't have created a clone but just a decent Windows Mobile that doesn't look like the iPhone. I just don't like walking around with something that is a fake/clone.

Good comment kadajawi!
I also think Li-Ion is the way to go but since there's no external charger shipped with the phone I didn't really understand the use of the second battery. Still if you don't mind recharging both in the phone you can always have a backup battery for emergencies.

Hi Tangmu
Been watching these threads with great interest for a couple of days now and thought i'd better sign up to the forum so i can participate in the discussions...
Can i ask a couple of quick questions .... ?
1) The i32, How customisable is the software/os on this phone, eg , can you change the picture on the lock screen for instance or re-configure the buttons on the home screen.
2) Does the contact list scroll like the iphones and does it support pictures
3) Can you flip through pictures as you can on the iphone by flicking your finger left to right etc.
Hope these questions are covered in the upcoming review....

Hi steverae!
Welcome to the forum. Of course you can ask.
1.) It's not customisable at all!
2.) Not really. You can flick through the list using yout thumb but it's not animated as well as the list on the iPhone and more difficult to navigate. Pictures are not supported. (Tststs... DESAY M888 was able to do that before!)
3.) No. You can use multitouch on the pictures but you need to doubletap to bring up the menu and select the next pic.
I hope I can find some time to get part three up before the weekend.

I wonder if the software on this phone will ever be updtateable (probably not, hah!), or if it will be hackable at least..

Thanks for the answers to my Questions Tangmu.
I've had XDA type handsets ever since the XDA II came out years ago and have loved the fact that the OS can be hacked so easily via my pals over at xda-developers.com.
I saw a couple of reviews of the M888 and think it's interface is alot more polished than what i've seen on he I32 so far.
I guess i'll hold off until i the T32 comes out next month and see how it stacks up against he current batch of WM6 devices..... nearly bought one of these I32 as well, Thanks Tangmu, you dashed all my hopes by answering my questions....
BTW, i thought i'd just watch a demo of a real Iphone... Wow, it's OS is SO cool, if they weren't so god damn expensive....

Ok, my phone came with a docking station where you can put in the phone and which had a slot for a battery at the same time. Having to change the battery to charge it sucks, but it's better than nothing I guess.

I paid for one of these last month. I must say it is the last time I'll buy anything from a Chinese seller on eBay. I will pay extra just to get a US seller.
I still have not received my product. They are bad for business.
I think I jumped the gun in this one but my drive right now is to get a dual sim phone. No US carrier provides that. I could have got for the Iphone but I don't want a hacked one and will never do AT&T (I was laid Off from there) So I don't support them in any way. Not even my home phone. I switched once they bought Bellsouth.
Anyways, I am a phone geek and hopefully the phone works for me.
Don't believe the Chinese. It take over 30 days to get your phone and not the 5-7 days they tell you.
