Or maybe he still wants to sell the iPhone Clone quickly before he publishes his test results! :D

    hiphone i32 review

An Improved and Yet More To Improve Copy
    by: Jon Gavino

When Steve Jobs of Apple announced the iPhone few years ago, we already expected that it will really set standard in Mobile Phone design and functionality.
There are a number of manufacturers who followed his footsteps and came out with their "ïPhone" style phone. Major phone manufacturers are still quite shy of coming out with their own versions, but not these witty Chinese Manufacturers.

Currently, there are about more or less 10 different iPhone CLONES that has already came out in the Market. Among the latest one is this CECT I32 or now Famously called as HIPHONE.

The first impression that one will take notice of is "is this the original"...the iPhone Like silhouette, FULL FUNCTION TOUCHSCREEN, without the usual stylus pen, found in almost all iPhone Clones that came out. It has an 'iPhone Aura". All the icons on the standby screen are the same as the one that you can find in the original iPhone.

3mm thicker than the original iPhone, Hiphone boast a removable battery, on-board 512 TF Card, upgradeable to 2gb TF Card and a 2 sim-card (switching) slots to hold 2 different sims, which you can't find in the original iPhone.

One reason why this phone is quite popular worldwide is because it works in many parts of the globe. A Triband phone, Hiphone runs in RTOS like almost all of the China Made phones. It has a 3.5inches, 260k color display TFT LCD screen, so no need to use lenses when watching movies.

The Hiphone really is a photo-copy of the iPhone, however, if you further dissect the features and capabilities, this is nothing more of a regular Mobile Phone packed in an iPhone Style Housing. But, hey...with just around PhP8K or USD190...what more can you ask for.

The touchscreen function is responsive, as compared with the A8+, they have improved a little bit on this. Furthermore, writing SMS is made easy by the use of bigger on-screen keypad, so even while you are driving (though i'm not recommending it), you can do SMS easily, which you can't do it on either A8+ or P168. This is a practical improvement.

Watching Video is made more exciting with the larger crisp LCD screen with Auto play function when you rotate the phone on either side.

Furthermore, Shake Control Function on the Audio player has been upgraded, you can shake backward if you want to play the previous song and shake it forward if you want to play the next song. This is I believe a great feature, though you can also use the touch screen icon to do this function.

Camera lovers will not be impressed by its on-board camera. !t only .3mp with a size of 640x480, which we believe is one of the downside of this model. Wherein our current standard should have a minimum of 1.3mp with size 640x480.

The Zoom function using just your fingertip and moving the photo from side to side is also a good feature, though, practically speaking is not that usable here in the Philippines where in GPS is not yet as popular as in UK, Australia or US.

Just like most China made phones, it comes complete in accessories, which I believe should be emulated by Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and other Major Mobile Phone manufacturer.

    a. 2 batteries
    b. 1 silicon casing
    c. 1 handsfree Headset
    d. English Manual
    e. 1 USB Cable
    f. Charger

In summary, the Hiphone created so much interest worldwide not because of its impressive features, but because of its "Iphone Aura".

Again, we believe that this will become hit in the Market, because of its COST-EFFECTIVENESS. With just P8k or USD199, you'll have an "Iphone-Style" phone that you can use in everyday calls and sms with a Video and Music as bonus. You can get your money's worth though...

    Pros:
    a. iPhone Style (iPhone Aura)
    b. Easy SMS input
    c. Shake Control Function and multi-directional video and image viewer

    Cons:
    a. no Wifi
    b. not impressive Camera
    c. no games

Sorry for all the delays guys. I just want to keep up our tradition of telling you one thing and doing another just for surprise... No! Just kidding.

My laptop is giving me hard times since the beginning of last week and probably has to be repaired. Please use the thread for further discussion. I'll update as soon as I have access to a working machine where I can edit my stuff.

Next time I will just post when everything is ready.
