What do you think about the new ONDA VX747?
(No, it's not a phone but a mp4-player...)

If it doesn't have the Wolfson DAC it's not gonna sound nice. The VX858 (NOT VX858LE) has it.

Overall it looks neat, and the Ingenic chipsets are a step ahead of Rockchips. What price tag does it have? It is a step ahead of cheap ipod clones, but i don't think its quality is anywhere near the M6.

PS. I'd wait for the M8 if i were you. Having to use a stylus on anything else than a PDA is just stupid. Those touchscreens are known to be pretty unresponsive when using your fingers.

i think i saw this in a store a couple of weeks ago
i didn't like it because the screen is underneath the surface and was really imprecise when used with fingers

I believe the product came only on the 17th January on the market. And on the 22nd January appeared the first video on youtube.

Maybe you mean an other pmp because there are a lot of i-phone-looking clones.

yeah I'm not sure, neither about the player nor about the date (but the last time I was in that store was 21st January)

ok, ok. It was maybe one of both predecessors VX 858 or VX878. Anyway, the most important thing is the soundquality and a person who got one of the new 747 reportet this:

"The mp3 sound have a tendency to distort when your mp3 file is hot i n volume as most modern productions are.
I guess it is the preset EQ that pull upp the gain and it this way distort the sound even if the volume is low. Older songs "not so hot in volume" plays good." http://forum.*********.com/viewtopic...&highlight=hot

I didnt really like the interface for the "Now Playing" screen. Its got a split on the RHS for album art? thats not that good. And its also using an Ingenic Chip with no ARM processor for sound so who knows what the sound quality is like. =P

I think i'll be making my move to COWON products only now.
