Video player help??

recently I have been on the hunt for a flash device for video that has at least a 2.8 inch screen and supports divx and xvid without conversion. Unfortunatly there are very very few devices that can do this. The archos 405 can but i don't want to buy an archos device. But apart from the 405 that seems to be it!!!! I've been giving meizu a bit of a bashing recently as I would like to buy an m3 but the bloody track skipping issue and lack of firmware upgardes is stopping me and it's really pissing me off so........I thought I would praise meizu for the fact that the m6SE and the M8 meizu are really heading in the right direction in supporting divx + xvid video up to 720x480 @ 30fps, a function that very very few small flash players seem to be able to do!! well done meizu! Now anyone got any bright ideas of players to get????

sere83, you seem to be having some sort of crisis.
You are on the hunt for a flash video device with 2.8 LCD like the Archos but you don't want an Archos.
You want an M3 but you dont want an M3 because of firmware\playback issues.
You recommened the M3 on the mysticriver forum.
You recommened not buying the M3 & M6 on the audiophile forum.
You have used an M6 but don't own an M6.
You have had your hands on a Cowon D2 but don't seem to own a D2.
You are keen to get your hands on a Newman MiniAll but you think it is ugly and under have doubts about it's CPU ability to perform.
Should I buy? - Should I wait?
Will they do this? - Why don't they do that?
You seem to have researched practically every DAP/Manufacturer on the market which is good, but all of them seem to fall short for you one way or another.
You have over 100 posts here yet you do not own a single Meizu product???

My advice, make a decision and buy something...... really anything.

I'm not sure if this comment is really indicative to a helpful community.

I recently had an arguement with my friend about something similar and this is what he said to me which i think may help people decide. A Mercedes can do 180mph but do you buy it because you will drive that fast or because of the other features of the car?

It is also about what you need and not really what you want. It's nice to have the things that you want but really you will waste your time on them wants.

There will never be a perfect match but perhaps near perfect. So you decide my friend or you can keep waiting till you have what you want.

hahaha, my digital trail of dap confusion has been exposed!!!! good work sherlock! when you look at it like that i do seem a little crazed!!! it seems my dap hunting obsession is spiralling out of control!!!! this has also been fuelled by the recent breakage of my hacha r280s player and a small influx of cash! i do really need to make up my mind!!! I've compiled a sort list of soon to be realeased and released video daps:

cowon x7
samsung p2
smartQ T5
hacha pa20/pc20
iriver w10

I still would really like an m3 as just an audio player, if they fix the skipping problem, but i still own a sony nw-hd5 which is very good, i just like the m3's small form factor. Obviously the m8 is top of the list for video but that won't be for a while. In the mean time.....continueing my interest in obscure chinese daps....the link at the top of this page for the smartq T5 looks very promising just need to find where to get one!
I'm slowly attempting to curb my rampant dap obsession........but you know these things take time. hahahahaha...........and don't even get me started on PMP's!!!!!!!!

haha, yeah I have seen this, the iphone clone. Not a bad spec but i suspect the firmware and GUI will be awful plus it is too much of a straight copy to really warrent being taken seriously.
