Looks more like a dwarf ipod than a nano. That link has some interesting theories on fake pictures by apple so that the actual new models will get a more positive response.

pictures look fake to me, i think the next gen ipods will be further removed form the old dated designs, this is basically a squashed ipod video. I'm thinking multitouch screens and cover flow etc

Well to be honest a device with the Nano's form factor with a touchscreen would be appealing.
I hope Meizu ups the ante with a touchscreen M6 with no trackpad. Now that would be cool.

Agreed with sere83, it's hard to believe they'd do such an ugly thing.
But hey then again i guess it would sell as good as the rest. 'Cos it's Apple... Oh, sh*t didn't realize it was from Apple until now, i HAVE TO buy it!!!!!!! not.

Extreamly ugly. The Nano's look worse every generation if this is really the 3rd gen nano.
iPod Nano 1st gen looked nice, 2nd gen kinda ugly, 3rd gen awful.
Imagine how iPod Nano 4th gen will look. O.o

The consumers don't care about price, they acre about functionality more. The consumers don't care about fuctionality more, they care about styling more. The consumers don't care about styling more, they care about where the product was made more (Never in CHina). The consumers don't care about where the product was made bore, they care about the brand.
On the back of the iPod you can clearly see "Designed by Apple in California MADE IN CHINA"

I like the fact that Meizu posted a M7 mock up the other day, so they can't say that it is a Ipod touch clone...
And damn new nano is ugly, but it is damn slim... Luckily M6 still has the biggest screen. (and it is way prettier)
