Music Badge concept

This is a MP3 player design concept (without screen, as iPod Shuffle or new Creative Zen Stone) made by coolqyl203 from Meizu BBS. I think it looks great :

the whole concept looks nice except from the pin idea on the back, those damn things can hurt you!

Looks very cool. Although I hate MP3s without screen, just like the ipod shuffle. I just love DAP's with screen, like my Music Card.

Awesome idea - wouldn't actually be _that_ hard to make too, I wouldn't have thought.

Having said that, where on earth is the USB plug for it? I guess it could be behind - in the same way the headphone jack is.

@DimaMP4: I think it does have a screen - I'm not sure what the Chinese says but looking at the pictures it seems as though there is an OLED screen in a ring around the play button.

Looks good, I'd buy it if it wasn't a pin. Unless the pin could be taken off :P

i'd buy it for backup purposes, a secondary mp3 for jogging/exercising. I'd take it over shuffle or zenstone anyday.

Features in english:

- it has 2 turn plates - one located in the inner circle, one located around the outside
- the outside circle has 4 'buttons' to the top bottom left right. They are for choosing the menu options, and to change songs (FF, RW).
- the outside circle also displays song title, and displays the clock, as seen int he picture (far right one)
- the inside circle is used to control the volume mainly
- the blue circle separating the smaller circle from the bigger circle is a 'pulse' indicator, which beats to the sound of music (like a visualiser i guess)
- the button in the middle is the play/pause and 'enter' button

pretty neat.

God, it is hot.

The pin part is a little.... tacky... (no pun intended)

Perhaps they could make a removable clip... that would be nice!

I personally like to put a player in my pocket or hold it, but clipping it onto a traveler bag sounds really cool.

err... it's a concept piece. it's made by a meizu fan and not by meizu themselves.

that said, IF meizu decides to make something like this, and IF the capacity is say.. 1-2gb, i'd DEFINITELY go for it.

but i do agree, change the pin at the back to a clip or something. :D
