As predicted in my 16gb flash chip thread a 16gb flash player has been announced. The teclast will produce a player called the T39 with 2, 4, 8, and 16 gig flash based models.

Hmm, touch screen. And 40 hour life too. Pretty good specs! Looks like an M8 competitor.

lets wait and see what they do with the GUI
the teclast players are fine usually but the GUI is extremely ugly and often the controls are sub-par
i don't get why they don't fix that.. its not that hard using regular colors and fonts over colors that cause migraine and epileptic seizures and burn straight through your retina, seemingly borrowed from a candy company...Last edited by Job; 05-10-2007 at 09:25 PM.

what you see is just the main screen... the main menu of the teclast players always looks good
beyond that it usually looks terrible...
I have been very disappointed by my past 2 Teclast players(T29, C280) the sound might be good, the loks are fine but the controles, gui and ease of use were not exactly impressive
before i get excited about this play ill wait and see if teclast finally decided to address those issuesLast edited by Job; 05-11-2007 at 10:40 PM.

i dont think they're gonna be addressed. Crappy interfaces are not welcome these days.
In fact, that's because they use a very generic firmware and only try to fix minor but annoying bugs.
Actually Teclast can come up with a 32Gb player and I wont get impressed anymore. Same experience as Job's one with my previous T29 and C260Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

I liked my Teclast T29 a lot, it had good browsing and it's GUI was ok with a better theme, it was also smaller than many "big screen players". The C280 was a bit more disapointment, the GUI really sucked and browsing was so slow, video was great tho. That's why I have decided to get a Meizu M3, it's small, has a nice GUI and good browsing.
