Hey my fellow Meizu-users!
Seeing that the Meizu devices are great for playing music, I thought we could use this thread to share our favourite music acts, songs that we like or just a CD that we have recently discovered and that we would like to share. Of course we do not share the CD itself, but we can link to YouTube and embed the songs.
I will start here, and I have chosen three videos. All three are from Switzerland, but they have different styles and backgrounds.
This one is from now defunct hip hop group Liricas Analas. They rap in the Rumansh language that is spoken by only 60'000 people in Switzerland (that's 0.1% of the population). I don't understand that language, so I have no idea what they are rapping about :-)
This one is by Chantemoiselle, a rather new project that makes songs in that chanson-style. They sing in the dialect of Berne, the capital city of Switzerland. The song is called "Rose garden" and is about a charming girl that waits for her rendez-vous in a garden of roses.
The third one is by Gölä, a former bricklayer. He is one of the most famous and most celebrated musicians nowadays in Switzerland. The song is basically the story of the Ugly Duckling. He, too, sings in the dialect of Berne. This is not the official video, because there isn't an official one.
Enjoy! And post some cool music that you like!

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsFinally that thread is alive

I have two new videos. The first one is from emancipator, I think they're from the US. They make ambient/electronica/instrumental stuff, rather calm.
This one is one of my favourite songs ever, not because of the song, but because of what happens during the song. It's a live performance by Elvis of his song Are You Lonesome Tonight. During the song, he starts laughing uncontrollably; rumour has it, he starts laughing because of some bald guy (he even sings something about that), then he can't stop laughing because of the background singer. Unfortunately there is no video, just the audio track, but enjoy!

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsDamn, Soliduz, somebody gotta tell you a thing or two about good hip-hop...

So check out this three vids of three various artists:
Ivy League hip hop, actually a Smirnoff commercial.
Captain Dan and The Scurvy Crew - From The Seas To The Streets
That's pirate themed rap. Hilarious stuff.
John Cena - Bad Bad Man
Cena is a wrestler and a musician, his video is a spoof of the series A-Team.

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsSilphx, you don't need to copy the embed-code from youtube.
Do it like this:
The YouTube-link looks like this www youtube com/watch?v=Ahg6qcgoay4. Take the bold part and write it between this code: (omit the spaces). It looks like this

Et viola! The whole world can enjoy your video.

Thanked 19 Times in 19 PostsIndeed this a brilliant idea. My first three videos here will be from Denmark.
The first one is by the current famous dancepop band Alphabeat with a brand new single "DJ". What I know of they also very known in the UK. Maybe some of you guys from there have seen them.
Alphabeat - DJ
Next I'll will show you the winner from the Danish "X-factor" (American Idol alike) talent show, that was held in Copenhagen last month. It was the biggest event in the shows history, even it was a quite big music event for Denmark in many years. Almost 40.000 spectators were meet up to the show. The winner, a 30 year old school teacher named Thomas Ring. No good to know if he goes international one day, at least he was an pretty amazing guy with beautiful voice. Enjoy.
Thomas Ring - My Dream (Live at "Parken" Stadium)
Next song is by Chanée & N'Evergreen. They won the national song contest called "dansk melodi gran prix" this year. It's a great song if you ask me. Also they will so going to represent our country in the "Eurovision Song Contest" later this year. It's probably the world's biggest music event. Every year around 40 countries are joining and voting to pick out a final winner of the best song. According to bookmakers, Denmark should expect a high rank this year. Now that's interesting!

Thanked 50 Times in 30 Posts@jasszka: I figured out your problem: remove the ampersand "&" on the end of the link, e.g. hXlBAadicBI instead of hXlBAadicBI&. It should work.
I actually like it. Is it common that Danish musicians sing in English?
