Is the D2 worth buying at $40 more and half the gigs of the M6?

There is US$ 40 basically... indeed is above US$ 60 difference counting price and memory.
As machine D2 is more than M6, to display in screen 16.000K instead of 260k colours makes a difference, D2 can be connected to a TV, has line-in, has a slot for SDHC cards. Touch screen really works. Screen is slightly bigger than M6: 2.5" vs 2.4".
Concerning software D2 is a mature machine, while M6 is in-development, in green so to say. Managing of ID3 is properly developed while in M6 isn't completed yet.
Skinnability in both machines is excellent, but interface of D2 is cuter.
Formats supported by both machines are almost the same, but with a trick D2 manages AAC, while M6 manages WMA lossless.
In video are pretty much the same, with a slight advantage for D2: conversion is easier, M6 requires to turn image.
On operation M6 have certain advantage as is easier to deal with music catalogue, when you get to maintain it properly. D2 is a bit cumbersome, but bring more options as it is genre and year. D2 have some lack showing information of music while M6 shows a screen with this data.
Sound if both machines are awesome with IMHO a certain difference in favour of M6, but nothing that a good EQ can't fix.
FM reception of D2 is simply the best I've heard in an MP4.
In general, both are good players, very similar, but D2 justify plainly the above US$ 60 of difference.
