M3 back came loose -device dead

Hi,

anyone there with a M3 where the metal back spontaniously came loose and unfortunately the device is dead?
It's from july 2008 but however teh M3 has gone out of production.
My M6, 3 years old, still works perfectly.

m3 out of production? why, i saw one in beijing last month...

Just because you see something, does it mean it's under production?

I've seen a warehouse full of Game Boy Advances, doesn't mean they're still producing them, they just have more stock than they could sell.

If you look at the products on en.meizu.com only M6 and M8 are mentioned. So M3 not available any more.
I had contact with Dane Elec, supplier for Europe and they said they had stopped with the M3. Only a few white available in some stores.
I really wonder why......
