Hmm, are you sure that firmware supports this? I installed firmware version T2.004.6 and still have the volume going to 35 max...

Yes fully. Have you remember set the restrict volume to 40 on your player?

The restrict volume only goes to 35 in the settings menu. I even did a 'reset all settings' but this does not change a thing. I have a European Music Card 4GB version SP, could this have sometihing to do with it?

Thanks for the golden tip. I used this firmware:

http://www.meizu.com/MeizuMp3LiveUpd...M3_T2004.6.rar

It starts up in Chinese so i had to guess around in the settings but succeeded putting it on English. Now the volume goes to 40!

Hi !

I know, I'm a little late (topic started on august, and... oooh, already in september!) but if someone read this, (it'll be kinda a miracle...! OmG !), maybe he/she could help me !

I would like to upgrade the volume -from 35 to 40- for my M3 by downloading the FW 2.004.6, but it seems it doesn't works properly, so I wanna try to download the chinese version, like Bigsurf did but before downloading anything :
-> could you tell me if it possible to pick out french language (from chinese FirmWare version downloaded by Bigsurf - cf page 1) or if you only have no choice but english or chinese ?

Thanks a lot !!

You only have English and Chinese, but you can download a custom firmware with more languages. Just search for M3 in the French forums.

Yes i could, but it's still a bęta version, I think (not sure !). I'm gonna try to contact Elpaz (he has make the french translation fo M3's FW) and asking for more about it. (wich features on his translation, does it works properly etc...) .
An' about the english one, i've seen that chinese was better, so...
I've just received my Meizu, and I don't want to do something stupid !... At worst, I will downgrading my player !
Good af' Natedogg !

Yeah, If you can bear english, use it until Elpaz can come up with the French M3 firmware.
