A question about charging

Hi there.
I consider buying the Meizu M3 but one thing bugs me. How does the USB charging work? Does it start to charge the battery every time I plug it in, even if I just want to copy some tracks to the player? I think it's bad for the battery.

yes, it charges and you are incorrect when you think it is bad for the battery.

when you have it on and plug it in to the computer, it connects to the computer
if its off it(thecomputer) charges it.
