battery life/firmaware?

My m3 has such a short battery life these days it's becomin a pain. does anybody have an idea as to what is the best firmware state for longest battery life?

I'm currently using 2004.5

How long is battery life of your m3? In my m3 it's about 12-14hours & i'm using fw v2.004.6.

Try turning off custom sound effects.

I never use the sound effects, apart from changing between rock, live, jazz and classical eq settings when needed. My battery life is around 5 hours max.

Happened to me before. I turned off some sound effects and now I have a 12-14h playtime. I have the EQ on "close".
