Only one version of the M3?
There is only one version of the M3, is this correct? I am only aware of the two different "revisions" of the M3, one has a shiny metal back, and one has a brushed metal back.

I'm getting an M3 because I can't seem to find an M6 SP anywhere for a decent price, and Dane-Elec now sells the SL version. I liked the SP's sound, and I was hoping that the M3 will be exactly the same as the M6, since they do use the same chips. I have read that they do differ slightly in sound.

Yes, correct. Also, recently produced M3s will have the same sound chip as the M6 SL.

sounds like a bunch of revisions on hardware so far...

btw, Job, as I don't see any reference to a deleted post, which post should we delete? Above Err0r, above you or perhaps above me?
