    Which version is the best firmware. I upgraded to the newest, but it still has some bugs and problems.


    Is there a firmware version with gapless playback?

    no there is no firmware with that capability as yet and i doubt there will be.

    I'm one of the guys porting the rockbox firmware to the Meizu M6. The M3 is so similar to the M6 that rockbox should work on the M3 with only minor modifications. With rockbox the playback will be gapless.

    I doubt the Rockbox Project will be finished anytime soon though...
    If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

    Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
    Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
    Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

    The Gigabeat F port took us just over a year, but it was quite a challenge to get our own code running on that one. On the other hand, the lack of documentation for the CPU in the Meizu players isn't really helping.

    We'll see how it goes.

    I'm getting awful stuttering lately with LAME v3.97 V2 encoded mp3s. Very very bad...
