M3 screen problem

My M3 has just developed a strange problem: There are white lines at the top portion of the screen. Because of this, the title bar is almost unreadable. The white lines are interleaved, and it appears only at rows 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.

I've tried:
1. updating the firmware
2. format
3. low level format
3. downgrading the firmware
All to no avail.

Has anyone got a similar problem before?

I haven't heard of anything like that. It sounds like a hardware problem though, not a software one.

Yeah, I will return it for service once I get to China :D

By the way, it's 8 lines, not 5 lines, so the lines affected are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16.
