It is working again!

This is a discussion on It is working again! within the music card M3 forums, part of the Discontinued Meizu Products category; I'm not Tomik. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that when it says that, the restore is finished....

Hi, you guys out there.....thanks for all your help. My M3 finally ligts on, but it's only half way to success.

Before the operation, my M3 doesn' work AT ALL.

So I downloaded the 2004-3 file, and applied to dfu tools. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

So i downloade only the M3.EBN and now when I press the M button, it shows me the player is charging ( battery icon ). So i let it charge the whole night, and turn it on again by pressing th M button for about 5 seconds. My player turns on with the word MEIZU...and some chinese character just below. The thing is that this message appears for 3 seconds and everything goes off. I tried it manay times ans have the same problem.
I think i missed something but what ?
I tried to download resource.bin but my DFU tells me that it's the wrong firmware. I download anaother resource.bin from the 2004-2 file but the same message appears. So can anyone help me out please.

    To make it short...
In the DFU program, what should I apply on "Image 1", and what else on "Image2".

I've downloaded version 2004-3, 2004-5, and 2004-6, and on each, when ewpanded, gives me 2 files RESOURCE.BIN and M3EBN.bin, but each time I tried to download the resource.bin, DFU tells me it's a wrong DFU file....

    Pleas help me out

I'm pretty sure you're doing everything correctly... If the player is still under warranty, just exchange it. You could also take it apart and sell the parts on eBay, M3 parts are going to be rare soon since they stopped production of them. That's about it.

Yep, Meizu's supplier was running out of the screens so Jack decided it was best to discontinue the M3 in favor of more effort towards the M8.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Yeah, they stopped mass producing iPod nano 1G and 2G's, and the M3 used the same screen as the nanos, so getting screens will cost Meizu. Only a small number of people have M3's anyways, so it's not a terrible loss.

EDIT: Darn it Err0r, just because I get into detail doesn't mean you have to barge in

On closer inspection of your post, you didn't edit it at all...

I did. The forum doesn't record it if it's under a minute (or two).

You have to convert them using BatMan, a free video converter by BobbyQ here, and use the M3 profile.
