I just purchased a 4GB M3. Everything seemed to be fine until I look at my M3. The backing of it is like a dull metal, not the shiny chrome found on my M6. Is this normal? I mean, the player looks and feels real. The box is real and everything else for the most part is Meizu. I had the impression that M3's had chrome backing's as well. Any input would be appreciated, thanks guys!

don't worry this is what the m3 looks like nowadays. They replaced the chrome back with a brushed metal back to reduce unsightly fingerprints.

Huuhh, the M3 isnt brushed metal back, its suppose to be chrome. The new version of the M3 that meizu are still working on will be brushed metal back, and that only has one button strip and nothing else. Unless i am wrong. Anyone else know of this?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell, that's weird.
I bought my M3 two weeks ago from jtcelectronics and it has a shiny chrome back.
Did they sell me a super old model
? Do both versions exist at the same time?
Does anybody know if you can conclude from the series no. the production date? Madman: what's the serial number on your brushed m3?
(mine ends with GGDLNKK4287)

thanks madman!
great job, jtcelectronicz. They sell stuff that has spent half a year on the shelf
. Apparently the M3s didn't sell that well especially now as everybody is crazy about the m6sl.
Hope that doesn't mean that my m3 will have any issues. I could imagine that the battery doesn't get better if it's a half a year old.
whatever.

playitagain ... so your SN is M3SP04GGDLNKK4287... can I use this SN to ask for the pouch that Meizu send to their customers?
