Did you try to recharge it ? (it may sound stupid, but maybe you assumed it could stand longer without being recharged)

It seems as if it's broken. Contact your seller for warranty.

Before that, try letting the battery run out, and then charge it.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

I also have this problem with my girlfriend's m3. I plugg it via usb while pressing simultanously the >ll button and the m button under and vista detect a DFU USB Device but its looking for a driver and I don't know where to find it... I've heard that vista doesn't need the DFU tool, so where do I find this driver ?

    Try to use dfu tools.
I tell you what to do. It worked for me on xp, maybe it works on vista too.
go to the dfu tool installation folder.
Edit the secdfu file. Write "S5L8700 Rev.1" instead of "SST39VF800.dfu"
And write M3.EBN instead of M6.EBN.
Copy an paste the M3.EBN and the resource file to the folder.
    open dfu tools.
connect the player while you hold the play and m button. And during the whole procedure you have to hold them.
Press download and it should be done.
I hope it works, cos it really worked for me and made my player living again.

Thank you for your answer Adikosa.
I have tried your method under xp with the DFU Tools and when I press download I have a message telling me Error : don't recognize Firmware Device. I continue by pressing download then I button download is transformed in enumerate button which I pressed then I have an other message telling me Error : impossible to re-enumerate.
Can you tell me which firmware do you use to succed with this procedure ?

You don't have to install drivers.
Read my previous post about fixing the problem.

Edit the secdfu file. Write "S5L8700 Rev.1" instead of "SST39VF800.dfu"

getting and error failed to open a file S5L8700 Rev.1
the folder has a file called as SST39VF800.dfu but notS5L8700 Rev.1 as we replaced it in secdfu file

yeah. Maybe it's not the best solution.
But it worked for me and for an other guy too to fix a meizu m3.
Doesn't matter if an error shown up.
