no response

Hi. I've got following problem. I turned off my m3 and it was for the last time I could see something on the display. I hadn't upgraded, hadn't upload any new data, hadn't changed any settings. just listened and then turned off.
Now, the only thing I can get is that the screen flashes with white color for a while. It happens when I try to turn it on (actually, it used to flash even when everything was ok) or when i plug it into the pc (which is normal too). But instead of "loading..." i can see just the black screen. I've tried hard reset, restoring the initial settings, nothing worked. I can't reload the firmware, cause the player is turned off, so it wouldn't connect to pc as a device. It should just start charging, which actually doesn't, as far as I can say according to the indication on the screen. Is it some known problem, or shall I send it to back to the seller?
