m3 price drop anytime soon? Also - m6 vs. m3 price

Hello!

First off - Why is the m3 only a little less expensive than the m6? (8gb versions - ) THe m6 is obviously much more feaure rich and advanced . . . ideas?

Price drop anytime soon? With all the new players coming on the market - the ipod drops / competition - anyone forsee the m3 prices dropping soon?

We aren't fortune tellers. But yes, the M3 and M6 will most likely see a price cut as their new players arrive.

i believe that the m3 and m6 are targeted two different markets. some people want something as small as possible and get the m3. others are okay with a larger size and more features.

Isn't the "main" chip, sound-chip(a bit better on the M3) and memory chip same on both players? So it's the battery and screen that costs different? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think DimaMP4 is correct. The sound chip is better on the M3. And just to add, the new M6SL coming out today would use the same sound chip as the M3 - therefore, if you have something like the M6, with the sound chip of a M3, you'd expect M6SL to cost more then the M6, won't you?
