This is a discussion on So... What is the new Meizu Supposed to look like? within the music card M3 forums, part of the Discontinued Meizu Products category; I've heard a few rumors... So why M3 instead of M7, M8, or something higher than M6? Also, does it ...

So... What is the new Meizu Supposed to look like?

    I've heard a few rumors...

So why M3 instead of M7, M8, or something higher than M6?

Also, does it look like the nano (smaller screen than M6) or is it supposed to be 2.6" screen (again, I've heard different rumors)?

    Capacity? 8GB was it?

    Does it play videos?

And what's the deal with no Meizu site (not even in Chinese)???
    I'm out

Why M3, because they already have something planned for M7, and M8 :D

It will have a smaller screen, 1.8" or 1.6" (i dont remember pretty well)

    Capacity: 1, 2, 4, 8Gb

No video on M3 thats why is called MusicCard

www.meizu.com is working, remember tha earthquake few days ago... communications were affected and not yet fully functional.
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

    all from Meizu bbs

M3 is basically M6's little brother, so I guess that's why the model number is halved
    1.5" LCD 176x132, 7 lines.
    39mm width, 6.9mm thickness. 20hr battery life.
WMA lossless support (similar to FLAC, and when u rip CD from Windows Media Player you can choose WMA lossless format).
Simplified from M6, uses three buttons plus a touch strip (for the three buttons my guess is that there are two buttons to either end of touchstrip, and you can push down on touchstrip too)

M7 has 2.6" LCD 640x480, might be released in China around midyear this year.

M8 has 3.2" LCD 720x480 (widescreen, *might* be touchscreen or similar to iRiver Clix)

How did you know what it looks like, because theres a competition on so you can design the bottom half so I thought they wouldn't release photos before the comp ended

It's just to give the contestants something to work.

It gives a hint as to the screen size, layout, etc.

They probably already have the basic shape laid out - just without the colour scheme button placements, etc.
