I plan on purchasing the M3 (4GB version) and I wanted to know if it has any problem working with Linux (by working, I mean stuff like updating firmware, moving and erasing files, etc.). I use Ubuntu Linux in its latest version (Feisty Fawn). Thanks.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postshey dude, nope there shouldn't be any problems with using any *nix OS. I haven't tried it myself, but all should work smooth, as there is no additional software that has to be installed. (apart from converting the videos if you want to do so)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI use Fedora Core 6 with my M6, no problems. I even have the video converter tool working just fine under WINE. There is also a DFU toolbox for Linux, but I've not yet tried it.
