For the freezing up, it might be because of couruppted files. It happens on an M6. You might need to re-rip the files off your CD's, or if you got them online, re-download them. I don't know about the forward/reverse button. To add to the playlist select a song in the music menu but don't press enter to play it, just so that the clolred menu bar is on the song. Then you just hold the enter button until the menu bar flashes. Then that song is added to the playlist. To rename radio stations you have to open FM.INI which is in the system folder and open it up. You should see station numbersand just type the name next to them and click save. The position of the song should be saved but you have to press the play button.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

it often freezes when going through the menus... I wouldn't know whic files were corrupted O___O

and about playlists, its seems very difficult to do, esp. without playing the song or turning it off, and they seem temporary. is there not a way to create permanent playlists on the PC??

it also crashes at the end of updating the disk...
thanks for your answers so far

in SYSTEM there is some FM data file which I can't open and also FM txt file which has 3 random numbers in it seems.. not my radio station numbers

For M3 the latest firmware as of now is 2.003.4

The playlist is added my going through your music from music collection list and simply holding on the play/pause button until you see the music title flash. You do this to all music you want on the playlist, and then you goto playlist option in music menu and select an empty playlist and save. It will automatically name it for you like 'playlist 1' or 'playlist 2'.. in order by sequence (thats if you have made another playlist).

I am not sure if you can drag and drop the m3u playlist made from pc directly to meizu but i may try that out and let you know if i can though i doubt it. (there could be a hidden system folder where they are saved in the meizu).
