    M3 ID3 Tagging?

After reading many of the threads here am I Correct in thinking that the m3 does not support id3 tags above v.1.0? This is a major issue for me if it does not. Why support a totally out of date Id3 format? Or is it just in browser mode? Also what are all these album tracks out of order issues that have been mentioned? Can anyone clarify?

If you use ID3v2 tags you have to make sure that your tags don't contain frames not recognized by the M3 (such as embedded cover art), or that these frames are after the standard frames inside the tag (if your tagging software allow to specify this).

This happens if you have embedded images in the tag, and the track number frame comes after the image frame inside the tag. When this is the case the M3 can't read the track number. Either remove the embedded image or reorder the frames in the tags.

The same problem could potentialy happen for all frames. For example a possible symptom of that limitation could be that you have the track title but not the artist name.

I hope meizu will fix that problem, it's very easy to do. But there are workarounds, so it's not such a big deal.

I've been researching flash players and I really like the M3 but this tagging issue has me holding off on purchasing. Is this a widespread problem? Has it been addressed in firmware updates? I would like to order an M3 right away but if I can't listen to albums in the proper order it would be dealbreaker (and a shame too).

Does anyone know if this issue would be a problem with albums ripped using EAC? (I have music from other sources, so even if it's not an issue using EAC I would still be concerned)

Seems like this would be a major issue and with more discussion if it was widespread, but I need to check before I buy.

    Thanks for any help!
